Dear GFLers! We are just a few days away from the 50th GFL ever, and we can’t wait to see you all in Hemsedal! Below is everything you need to know before the best week of 2025.
📲 Official Communication – WhatsApp Groups
All participants SHOULD be in the official WhatsApp groups, as this is the only way the Organizing Committee (OC) will send out important updates during the event, and a perfect opportunity for YOU to share your best photos and comments with every GFLer.
There are three groups: -Open frequency (general chat for anything and everyone) -Lost & Found -Information (important information from OC, such as start lists & results)
You can get an invite from your Team Captain or from team members who are already in the groups.
🚌 Bus Transfers – Oslo to Hemsedal
We’ve arranged buses from Oslo Airport and Oslo City Centre to Hemsedal.
🛫 From Oslo Airport (OSL): The GFL Buses depart from just outside the terminal (platform 43) You will be met by OC representatives just after the customs wearing “bunad” who will show you the way, after some included pizza and soda.
Buses depart when full, starting from 10:30 (local time) The last bus leaves at 20:30.
🏙️ From Oslo City Centre: Buses depart from two locations*: Oslo central station (Trelastgata 19): First departure 10:00, aiming to get everyone on their way ASAP. Ferry terminal (Color line) 10:30
*There will be sandwiches on the bus from city/ferry.
Make sure to be at your departure point on time!

🎵 Spotify Playlists To Get in the GFL Mood!
We’ve made three official GFL 2025 playlists to help set the perfect atmosphere for afterski, pregame, pool club and anything in between.
According to Norwegian law, bars close at 03:00, but we know our GFL-guests well, so of course we have arranged for extended opening hours at Stavkroa so we can keep the party going! 🎉

🏔️ Week Schedule – Some Updates!
We’ve made some minor updates to the week schedule. If you have subscribed and you are on iPhone, your schedule/calendar has been automatically updated. If you are on Android you need to “re-subscribe” to get the latest few updates.
If you need to get in touch with Norwegian emergency services or the local Ski Patrol, then this section is for you. We recommend that you save these on your phone, just in case.

Just a reminder, that this year we’re proud to support the Norwegian Search and Rescue Dogs (Norske Redningshunder). This incredible team work year-round to save lives in some of Norway’s most demanding conditions.
